Get downloadin&#8217;!<\/li>\n<li>I3D 2020 <a href=\"https:\/\/i3dsymposium.github.io\/2020\/status.html\">is postponed until (at least) September<\/a>, but the papers accepted <a href=\"https:\/\/i3dsymposium.github.io\/2020\/papers.html\">have been announced<\/a> and will be published in May.<\/li>\n<li>GDC 2020 didn&#8217;t happen in the flesh, but there are <a href=\"https:\/\/gdconf.com\/gdc-2020-virtual-talks\">talks online<\/a>. Sadly, though, there look to be none about computer graphics techniques.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/en-us\/gtc\/\">GTC 2020<\/a> this week was also virtual. It included a few graphics-related talks, and session content is starting to appear to watch. For example, there&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.nvidia.com\/techdemos\/video\/d2s21\">a quick demo<\/a> of RTX in Blender&#8217;s Cycles renderer, <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.nvidia.com\/gtc\/2020\/video\/s22678\">a talk<\/a> about RTX Minecraft, and <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.nvidia.com\/gtc\/2020\/video\/s22263\">a panel<\/a> of the future of GPU raytracing, among others. You have to register, but it&#8217;s free.<\/li>\n<li>Who knows the fate of SIGGRAPH this year, but I&#8217;m happy to see that the <a href=\"https:\/\/morgan3d.github.io\/articles\/2019-04-01-ddgi\/\">dynamic diffuse global illumination research<\/a> presented at GDC and <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.nvidia.com\/siggraph\/2019\/video\/sig922-vid\">SIGGRAPH<\/a> last year is <a href=\"https:\/\/news.developer.nvidia.com\/announcing-nvidia-rtxgi-sdk\/\">now a free, open-source SDK<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The free book <em>Ray Tracing in One Weekend<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/raytracing.github.io\/\">has been updated<\/a> and its code base improved. If you&#8217;ve been &#8220;meaning to check it out someday,&#8221; today&#8217;s that day.<\/li>\n<li>AMD&#8217;s joined the party, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Radeon\/status\/1240685251552296960\">announcing dedicated ray tracing support<\/a> in their new <span class=\"style-scope yt-formatted-string\" dir=\"auto\">RDNA 2<\/span> GPU line; video demo <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/eqXeM4712ps\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.realtimerendering.com\/blog\/it-cant-hurt-foldinghome\/\">Previous post<\/a> followup: I noticed today I got a work unit for coronavirus on Folding@Home. The psychology here is pretty odd, &#8220;oh, foo, my work unit is just helping cure cancer &#8211; better luck next time.&#8221; Oh, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.realtimerendering.com\/blog\/it-cant-hurt-foldinghome\/\">join our team<\/a>!
