I look forward to the day when we can just get the dang book immediately &#8211; really, I have to wait until March? The world could end before then, and then where would I be?<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/gpupro.blogspot.com\/2014\/01\/gpu-pro-6-call-for-authors.html\">GPU Pro 6<\/a> has a call for participation. Do it!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shadertoy.com\/view\/ldXGDr\">A great illusion<\/a> at Shadertoy, and a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.slate.com\/blogs\/bad_astronomy\/2013\/12\/07\/optical_illusion_shades_of_grey.html\">new shading illusion<\/a>\u00a0(I hope two links here makes up for the two separate GPU Pro listings).<\/li>\n<li>A little dated, but <a href=\"http:\/\/sirkan.iit.bme.hu\/~szirmay\/specstar11.pdf\">a thorough rundown of various global illumination related effects<\/a> on the GPU.<\/li>\n<li>Some worthwhile <a href=\"http:\/\/casual-effects.blogspot.com\/2013\/08\/z-prepass-considered-irrelevant.html\">arguments against doing a z-buffer prepass<\/a>.
