Would anyone have discovered this area of math if he hadn&#8217;t? Whatever the answer, many of us have whiled away at least a few happy hours rendering 2D and 3D fractals, and Benoit was the one who started it all.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few links in honor of Mandelbrot.
