So <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acm.org\/acmelections\/\">vote now<\/a>. You&#8217;ll need the piece of paper mailed to you, along with your ACM membership number (find that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myacm.org\/dashboard.cfm?svc=curr\">here<\/a> or look at the label of a CACM sent to you,\u00a0if you don&#8217;t recall it). Voting itself takes a minute, tops. While you&#8217;re at it, vote in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acm.org\/sigs\/elections\/\">ACM SIGGRAPH elections<\/a> &#8211; deadline is June 4th. Who to vote for? Here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.realtimerendering.com\/blog\/acm-and-siggraph-members-vote-for-open-access\/\">Naty&#8217;s take<\/a>. Disappointingly, very few candidates have responded so far to his <a href=\"http:\/\/realtimerendering.com\/open_access.html\">questionnaire<\/a> (a few candidates&#8217; email addresses could not even be found, which is pretty sad).<\/p>\n<p>I find voting theory fascinating, since <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Arrow's_impossibility_theorem\">there&#8217;s no perfect way<\/a> to set up voting when there are more than two candidates, to name just one dilemma.
